Lisa Robin Kelly, who is best known for playing Topher Grace’s older sister in “That ’70s Show,” passed away yesterday at a rehab facility in California.
The 43-year-old actress had been struggling with drinking and drug problems for years. She checked herself into rehab for treatment this past week, and we were all so proud of her. She was really determined to turn over a new leaf.
Unfortunately, Lisa went into cardiac arrest in her sleep and the doctors could not rescue her.
Her reps confirm, “She had been fighting demons for awhile and finally lost her battle.”
In addition, Lisa was struggling with her estranged husband for quite some time now. Her husband Robert Gilliam beat her last May and was finally convicted for domestic battery.
We’re all devastated to hear the horrible news.
People have been expressing their grief on Twitter since the tragic event.
Let us put away the thoughts of her chronic drug use and let us focus on the laughs she gave us on That 70 Show. RIP #LisaRobinKelly
