We had a feeling the cast of “Entourage” left room for a movie after the series wrapped last summer. Executive producer Mark Wahlberg went on “Today” to confirm that a movie script is in the works.
“Yeah, Doug Ellin is actually writing the script right now,” Mark tells David Gregory.
Eight years of the TV show left us wanting more bromance. This is certainly not a big surprise. Rumors of Mark Wahlberg working on “Entourage” the movie has been circulating before the last season of the show even began.
Remember how the series wrapped with a major cliffhanger? Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven, was offered a dream job and he is debating if he should ditch his family plans and go back to Hollywood?
In a recent interview with GQ magazine in January, Mark gave us a rundown on what he wants the movie to be about. “I think a 90-minute movie of sheer craziness – the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.”
Sounds like a classic plot for “Hangover” on crack. No word yet if all of the cast will be back, but knowing Mark, we’re going to guess “Yes!”
Sound off on your “Entourage” the movie predictions.
