Exclusive! Chloe Grace Moretz Learns to Play Cello For “If I Stay” Movie
If I Stay is an upcoming 2014 drama thriller film based on the novel If I Stay. The film is directed by R.J. Cutler and written by Shauna Cross.
Here are 3 things you need to know about the film!
1. 17-year-old Mia Hall played by Chloë Grace Moretz is a very gifted cellist. She has everything she could ever want: a loving family, an adoring boyfriend, an amazing best friend, and an amazing career ahead of her in music.
2.All of that changes suddenly when Mia and her family get into a terrible car accident. She is rushed to the ICU.
3.She is caught between life and death and watches as family and friends come to visit her at the hospital she is in. Soon she realizes that she must make the most critical decision of her life, wake up to live a life more difficult than she ever could have imagined, or slip away and die.
Recently Our PopStopTV Team caught up with Chloe at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival red carpet of Laggies, another wonderful film she is in, and we asked her about her new film If I stay. We asked her if she had to learn how to play the cello. Chloe said “I did, well parts of the cello… Yeah i tried,” and she laughed it off.
The shooting of the film began in October 2013 in Vancouver.
On January 2014, Warner Brothers was announced to distribute the film. It’s set to be released on August 22, 2014.
Can’t wait to see her performance in this new film! Keep it here at PopStop TV for more movie updates!
