Grammy Awards: Awkward Moments

Posted on Feb 11 2013 - 8:38am by Christina Sthair

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards last night was never a dull moment but, there was definitely some awkward ones…

1) Chris Dorner hosted the Grammy Awards!?

Just kidding!!! But his Doppelganger LL Cool Jay did!  With heightened security for the Grammy##Q##s due to the manhunt for Chris Dorner.  The first awkward moment of the night was the strange similarity between the two.  I think we found the actor to play the outlaw in what I##Q##m sure will be made into a summer movie hit.

2) Chris Brown and Rihanna##Q##s 5 year anniversary at the Grammy Awards.

Spotted in the front row, Chris Brown and Rihanna##Q##s public display of affection. Chris and Rihanna have been very open about being together.  But it was only 5 years ago when Chris Brown was arrested for attacking Rihanna after a Grammy after party.

3) Frank Ocean – Run Forest Run!

Frank Ocean##Q##s first televised performance of his Channel Orange song “Forrest Gump” make the cut for an awkward moment of the night.  Frank won both awards for Best Contemporary Album and Best Rap Sung/Collaboration for the Throne##Q##s “No Church in the Wild” but decided to perform the oh-so-slow song called “Forrest Gump” which many people did not understand.

“I know you Forrest
I know you would##Q##t hurt a beetle
But you##Q##re so buff and so strong
I##Q##m nervous Forrest
Forrest Gump”

If it helps…according to rapgenius.com

"Frank Ocean wrote this song in the perspective of Forrest Gump’s love interest, Jenny. It serves as a metaphor for the feelings Frank still harbors for the Tumblr guy"
