Sons of Anarchy Smoke 'em if you got 'em

My, my, my, how the tide has turned.

In this explosive episode of Sons of Anarchy, we see alliances made and betrayals discovered.

The biggest thing that happened was the alliance between the Mayans and SAMCRO.  It all started when Juice showed up on Mayan territory asking for safe passage to Mexico if he reveals intel on SAMCRO.  Marcus and the rest of the Mayans go to Jax and reveal the betrayal.  In exchange for Juice, the Mayans made a deal with Jax to get the gun trade back from the Irish after they remove August Marks from the equation.  This episode was all about Jax and his crew trying to kill as many of August’s crew as possible.  As a final touch, the dozens of bodies were transported to Damon Pope’s company property.

Gemma is also at a breaking point.  No, Juice didn’t kill her–instead she walked 12 miles to a diner, where she befriends a girl named Gertie, played by Lea Michele.  During a cigarette break, Gemma reveals to Gertie that her son lost his wife recently.  When Gertie asks what happened, Gemma replies “It was my fault.”  This is the first admission of guilt we hear from Gemma, who obviously regrets her actions.

Wendy and Bobby talk outside the garage and he realizes that she still loves Jax.  Wendy says yes, I do, and looks like she wishes she didn’t.

Nero and Juice are holed up in a Mayan closet while the Mayans talk to SAMCRO.  Juice says “I deserve a death penalty.  I’m running because I’m a coward.”  This is the point I thought he would reveal that Gemma killed Tara to Nero, but he says nothing.  Nero gets a hint though that there is something Gemma and Juice aren’t saying because Juice gave Gemma’s car to the Mayans as a deposit for the deal.

Sheriff Jarry and Chibs definitely feel something for each other but this episode is all about business.  They exchange information about Diosa and the Chinese.

Jax and SAMCRO take Juice and this is the moment we’ve been waiting for, to see if Juice will reveal to them that Gemma is Tara’s killer.  But, we have to wait for next week’s episode!

Later when Nero sees Gemma, he asks her if she helped Juice hide out from the Sons.  She cries and says that “If he tells Jax what he knows,” and breaks down.

Jax also tells Gemma to tell Sheriff Jarry that she saw Henry Lin and the Chinese outside Tara’s door, which would mean that they can’t get any sort of deal to get out of prison.

The biggest thing that happened was the truce between Marcus and Jax–do you think this truce will last?  And will Juice finally tells Jax Gemma’s betrayal?  Share your thoughts below!
